2009 GOLD CUP CIRCUIT AWARDS BANQUET A SUPER SUCCESS!!!

The gold cup circuit promoters and staff would like to thank all of you who turned out for our very special 2009 Awards Banquet.

A good time was had by all as the spirited crowd, cheered wildly for their favorite competitors! It was a tremendous treat to see the host of smiling faces, dressed in their finest to accept their Sparring, Kata, Continuous Fighting & Weapons Competitor Awards. Many facets of San Francisco Bay Area Sport Martial Arts were represented in all their shining glory.

The Appreciation Awards - The Division Champions -The Competitors of the Year - and our most Prestigious Gold Cup Awards -- What a phenomenal privilege to be in attendance to witness these especially dedicated individuals being recognized as only our loyal Gold Cup audience could do it.

The Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Michael Hillesheim, who coordinated especially well with his beautiful assistants, Priscilla Gonzalez and Brigitte Hillesheim. Following the Awards competitors, instructors, judges, family and friends alike took to the dance floor with some lively line dancing, salsa, cha-cha, and a great tribute to Michael Jackson in music and dance. As always, the event could not be possible without the tireless efforts of the Women of Gold Cup: Debbie Delgado, Carmen Gonzalez, Liz Hillesheim and Tournament Coordinator Extraordinaire Deborah Lozano. Finally, as always, Board of Directors: Manuel Gonzalez, Wolf Hillesheim and Ray Delgado were all smiles as they presented awards and shared the joyous night with everyone in attendance. Awards, Appreciation, Dancing... This was truly a night to remember.



We look forward to seeing all of you in January at our KICKOFF Tournament, when we begin another year of outstanding comradery and competiton for the 2010 Season.
